Love, True Love

   Tomorrow is Valentines Day. It's a wonderful day to show that special someone how much you care for them. Unfortunately, there are those of us who don't have that special someone. However, don't fret. You don't have to have a boyfriend,  fiance, or a husband to show love. We have an opportunity to show love to all of the people around us every day. Love is so much more then just an affectionate feeling for another person. Love is a commitment that reaches into another persons life and encourages them.

     1 Corinthians 13 : 4-8 and 13

4 - Charity (love) suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself; is not puffed up,
5 - Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 - Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 - Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 - Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

13 - And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

      Why not make the choice to love someone. Starting the moment you wake up tomorrow. Even if you can't see it, it will change their life.

  1. So absolutely true!!! Seems like the day people celebrate for love is actually more about celebrating the love of themselves... so sad!!!

    Looking forward to future posts!!!

  2. Well, I had been reading a lot about Valentines day being "Singles Awareness Day". I wanted to take the focus off of being alone and share that when you are with someone you love you really aren't alone. :)
